Bobby Cumbie, Principal Consultant

Bobby founded Bayline IT Solutions in 2016 after a decade running IT for a mid-market logistics company in West Oakland. He holds a Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, a CompTIA Security+ CE, and a Fortinet NSE4. He lives in Oakland with his family and coaches Little League on weekends.

Every engagement that runs longer than a few weeks touches Bobby personally — through the scoping call, the mid-engagement check-in, and the quarterly business review.

If a vendor's product isn't right for you, we say so — even when there's a referral fee on the table.

Documentation

Everything we build, we document. If we ever part ways, another provider should be able to pick up cleanly.

Security first

MFA, least-privilege, and offline backups are non-negotiable starting points, not paid add-ons.

Long horizon

The average Bayline client relationship is 4.2 years. That's the only KPI we really care about.
